FAQs

  • How do I get involved with The Messenger?

    • Take the 21st Century Journalism class taught by our advisor Mr. Clift! It is a class that will introduce you to the world of journalism and covers graphic design, photography, newspaper, yearbook, video, and everything you need to know when it comes to the world of news. The following year you're able to choose whether you'd like to go into Newspaper or Yearbook and can even choose to be a photographer, videographer, or cartoon artist once in those classes.

  • Did you know you have an error in a story?

    • Although we try to be perfect sometimes our eyes get tired from reading all the amazing stories our staff writes. If you see a mistake, please send us an email to themessengereditors@gmail.com.

  • Will we be getting a print edition back when we return to school?

    • That's the question we as a staff are asking and as of right now we're just not sure. Depending on when we're allowed to return to school really determines whether we bring back our standing tradition of having a print newspaper. But don't worry because the website is permanent and so there will always be a place to get your news!

  • Is there a way for me to get involved in the Messenger if I'm not on the staff?

    • Thanks to our website, there are so many opportunities that we can now provide for all our peers! You can submit a story idea to us or go to our "Creative Corner" to submit a piece of art including stories, poems, songs, photographs, etc.

  • Who comes up with the articles you write about?

    • Every story you read comes from the creative minds of our amazing staff. We work both individually and together to come up with the most interesting and relatable stories for our school to read. However if you have a story idea that you want our staff to write about then we encourage you to submit it to us. The more story ideas, the more stories for us to write about and for you to read!
