Ace's Art Exhibition: Huda Jesri's “Beauty”

Huda Jesri, jr. “Beauty”

Acrylic paint, 15 × 20 in canvas, paintbrushes, pencil, thin sharpie

“I wanted to paint something that was meaningful to me that would also send a message to people. The painting is meant to show that a cover is not what defines a person. Beauty is made through the personality and actions of a person. We are not in a place to judge someone based on their looks and their clothes. This portrays that a woman defines herself and her cover is simply for her, not for anyone else.”
